Ingredients

  • 3 cups Ori Sorgho Market’s Gluten Free All-Purpose Flour
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    ½ tsp Salt
    1 cup of Palm Shortening
    ¾ cup granulated Sugar
    ¾ cup light brown Sugar
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    2 Eggs
    ¾ cup dairy free Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375°F. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside. Beat shortening, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in a separate large mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg. Slowly add flour mixture to wet ingredients. Beat well until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by the teaspoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet and press flat. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the tray before transferring them to a cooling rack. Store in an air tight container.
